This will be my first post on the concept of hacking an HTC Desire. This same set of steps can be applied to a Google Nexus One, but probably not likely you could use the same roms/steps etc.
First off… Flashing a custom HBoot in today’s world is the only way that an HTC Desire or Nexus One is still worth having. With less than 128MB of internal storage your probably already feeling the crunch and wishing you had more space. You NEED more space. Heck, killer apps are over 20MB in size and you wanna install more than just 5 right?!?
– HBOOT and custom tables/partitions are your answer –
I’ll describe in detailed steps how to do this very soon. If you want me to post how SOONER, make sure you let me know by posting in the comments.
For those advanced nerds here’s how I did it.
Go Here:

Use unrevoked to S-OFF your phone and install Clockwork Mod Recovery.
Then, grab your tables from AlphaRev, use Android flasher to install them.
I’ll post detailed steps soon.
USING A2SD+, I currently have over a gig of apps installed on an HTC Desire with plenty of room for more. It’s nuts! I never run out of app storage on my Nexus One/Desire phone.
